A new moon dream (and prayer)

Dark Moon
Dark Womb
Sacred Void of Creation
I join with all others past present future who vow to nurture Life in the fullness of Her cycle
Birth Life Death Transformation Rebirth
We call on Death—death to empire and to all systems of domination and destruction
Dark Void, swallow them whole
Decompose
Transmute

In the midst of death we insist on Life
I join with all others past present future who are tethered to the Primordial Tree of Life—upholding or holding onto or remembering and re-tethering to the Original Ways
Amidst destruction
We insist on Life
We commit to bring forth life, beauty, joy, mutual support in the suffering

Even when it is dark and the path is unclear
Take the step
Follow the nudge
Insist on Life

Dark moon
Dark womb
Womb of Creation
We call in Life
